Hey guys,

I've had a Droid 2 for the past few months and I've loved it. However, I want to pick up either the Incredible or the new Thunderbolt. The only thing I'm curious about is the USB features of the HTC phones. The Motorola can plug into a USB and go into USB mode. I have a USB port in my car so I'll hook it up, and I'll be able to play the music directly from the SD card. Now does the HTC have that type of feature?

Thanks,
Mike

HTC definitely has the USB Debugging mode feature, as well as if you were to plug in your AUX cord in to the headset jack on the phone in to the car, it would play through your cars speakers.

Thanks dude! The only reason I would plug it into the USB versus the AUX is that I could get folders on the car's screen. When I play through AUX you can't control things like that.

Pretty much any Android device will do that. Connect the USB cable, turn on USB Disk mode, and anything with a USB host controller (ie, your car stereo) will see it.

Now, if the SD card happens to be too big (Sometimes, you might have issues with big SD cards) it might not be able to.
