Root Do you think we will get the MIUI Rom?

Title says it all, do you guys think we will get the MIUI Rom? If we do I know it will be after we get 2.2.

exactly....and from someone who has used it before...its cool for like a week....then it gets old REALLY fast

this is true of course

just whereas other aosp like cm and gem series can be your daily driver rom-wise...miui really gets old fast...or it did for me

I have all the confidence in the world in birdman and jt....and now that drod is on board maybe that ll help......if it can be done they ll get it

Jamezelle, the dev that does miui for the D1, is working on it and last I heard had it booting. Booting and being usable are very different stories but hes working on it. That was actually still using the .29 kernel too so the .32 kernel might help even more.

The further along aosp roms get the better chance of getting Miui.

yeah it ll come id think....if jamezelle needs the new radio it might come a little later...but id imagine once he has that it could be good stuff

MIUI Rom < CM6 ... on the n1, so far, with stock froyo on the SF it's far better than the CM6, so I believe if we get it, it will be better than stock, but not better than kaoscinate since CM copied the pulldown toggles shortly after the miui guys did it... other than that if you want your phone buttons to be iphone style (and menus) then you might like it.... not faster than cm tho

I liked all the uniqueness of MIUI's look such as the dialer and messaging app, but the launcher was always painfully slow.

Thats a pretty massive doesn't work list right now. Im no fan of MIUI myself and that dont work list killed any thought of me just checking it out. I know some will be all over this and more power to them. jamezelle is doing tremendous work from basically nothing. When I near final version comes up I'll probably even try it myself just to appreciate all his efforts
