I want to know what every one else is doing now that the prices have been revealed.
I love everything the atrix offers as far as rom ram and everything else but I was very interested in the doc. Now that the doc is out (price and teathering) I am not sure what to get. The atrix is better than the inspire and the infuse by specs but I don't know which to go to....

Maybe I am just pissed off but what is everyone else gonna do????

I'm still getting the Atrix as it is the best Android phone on AT&T. I will still get the laptop dock as I will be selling my 64GB wifi 3G iPad. The Atrix with the dock offers more functionality than the iPad. The combo will help me not having to carry my laptop and iPad.

What about selling the iPad for a Xoom? The Atrix and Xoom seems like a pretty killer combo.

Did anyone see the video where you could use the phone to navigate while using webtop and when you needed to enter text the android keyboard came up? I'm pretty sure you can still use webtop without the laptop dock.

I would love to get the Xoom but I am not going to sign a contract with Verizon for 2 years

Oh I didn't realize it required a contract. Hopefully a wifi only version comes out.

I'm pretty sure you could use webtop without a tethering plan but I'm thinking they force you to sign up for a tethering plan when you buy the dock or a pop up shows when you try to launch the firefox browser telling you to sign up for one.

Well I'm assuming that if you're using webtop without the laptop dock you'll probably be home and not on AT&T's network. If they can keep you from using it even if you don't buy the laptop dock I wonder if XDA would be able to find a way to fix AT&T's stupidity?

Where there's a will there's way, I'm sure they could make it work.

I expected $200 with a 2/yr contract so nothing has changed for me. I'm just shocked at how stupid AT&T is with this dock pricing.

Same here - I wasn't planning on getting the laptop dock, so once I got over my initial shock at the price and realized there was no other Android phones on AT&T even close, I've decided to stick with the Atrix.

Wouldn't you rather just buy the phone and purchase a separate laptop for 300 bucks with much more functionality than a laptop SHELL?? Anyone that would purchase the bundle in my opinion is crazy...

I'm probably still going to get the Atrix, but definitely not any of the docks. The other phone I was deciding between was the Bionic (for Verizon) but that will as of now come out in June-ish, so there's no way I'm waiting 3 months extra for a phone that has half the RAM of Atrix and doesn't have that awesome fingerprint sensor!

But, I'm really disappointed that the Atrix will have a locked bootloader because I was hoping to try out some ROMs. Hopefully the phone will be good enough by itself so I won't ever need ROMs.

Plus, no comparable phones will be out in the U.S. that I know of for a few months at least (until the Droid Bionic) so, at least for me, it's not worth the wait for something "better." Because, as we all know, in the world of phones there will always be something better in development, then on the market. I'll just make the most of what the Atrix does give me (eventual root, unofficial sideloading, new launchers to speed it up when necessary, etc.)

Nope. If I buy a laptop it won't cost $300. I already have a MBA which I will be ditching for an iMac. The combo will be perfect for what I do. None of Apple's laptops offer any kind of data connection which means I will have to use a hotspot or tether. So if I'm going to pay for tethering or hotspot plan then I will get the Atrix bundle.
