Help Disable notification sounds at certain hours

On my POS LG Envy2 on Verizon I was able to set my phone so I would only hear the alarm clock in the morning and ignore any e-mail and chat notifications at night. I'm having a hard time finding forum posts on this topic. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can do this so I don't hear chirps in the middle of the night when NewEgg decides thats a great time to e-mail blast me?

I have Android 2.2 on the HTC EVO

Any help would be appreciated.

Any one of these should do it. I miss that feature from my Blackberry. Never have added it to Android though, I just shut the ringer off at night.

Not sure what you mean. Timeriffic is independent of network used. You don't need to be rooted. Just go to the Market and try it: https://market.android.com/details?id=com.alfray.timeriffic

i was setting it up last night and set data to be turned off at 2am but unfortunately it did not, and then i manually turned it off because i have a 7am profile that supposedly turn it on but again it did not turn on. i dont have any task killer so i dont think that is the case

any ideas?

Gotcha...you need to use airplane mode to accomplish that. Spell out exactly what you are trying to do at what times and I think I can help more. I thing the setting you are referingbto simply switches a phone from 3g to 2g. That doesn't work on our phone

ooooh I see, but airplane mode turns off all radio right and wifi, I want to leave wifi on and phone. anyways I can live with that.

Gotcha. In that case set up a wifi on ...when wifi turns on and connects 3g turns off by default

i just notice my phone does not screen off because of the timeriffic, specifically on the sleeping profile? have you encountered this prob?

check something for me both outside of that time and during...

menu.settings.applications.development is screen on while charging checked?

otherwise delete that profile and re create it. I had not experienced that behavior while using timerrific

yes it is plugged in and it dims a bit but doesnt screen off.

no the screen on while charging is not checked.
i'll try deleting and recreating d profile and we'll see tomorrow

edit: i guess it worked i saw my phone this morning with a screen off, thanks
