Root Problems with TiBu and GB ROMS?

Ok so I wiped and went to the CM7 Nightlies. Of course I made a nandroid and also made backups of everything with TiBu (doing my usual paranoid Check Backups).

Everything checked out so I did my wipe and installed CM7... However when I restored my apps with TiBu, it didn't restore around 50% of my apps. They were simply gone, they were not even listed in TiBu. When I went to the TiBu folder in Root Explorer the backups were all there, TiBu simply wouldn't show them.

I did a nandroid back to my stable CM 6.1.2 and did another round of backing up the apps and checking that they were ok. All looked fine, then did another wipe and flash of CM7. Same thing happened. I actually had to redownload them from the Market.

So I'm wondering if this is an issue with TiBu and GB ROMs, I haven't tried any of the other GB ROMs out there, which is why I'm asking here if someone else has seen this on other ROMs.

In Liquids installation guide it metions that TIBu isn't playing nicely w/ that gingerbread ROM either so I think TiBu isn't up to speed yet

No, it will not. But I don't use TiBu, I use MBP as I've read (as have you) the wrangling it sometimes takes to get data to restore from rom to rom with TiBu. Fro data I use MBP to backup/restore call logs. sms, mms, bookmarks. I also use MBP to backup all my .apk's w/data (don't know why I bother with the data) as I never resotre anything but the apps that the market doesn't.

For me to manually change my settings back to the way I had them takes about the same amount (or less IMHO) of time and effort as the method that GurlsLoveDroid (or whatever) posted using TiBu.
