This install .zip will install this yellow circle battery (credit to Tom108 for the images) for your Liberty 1.5 ROM
This is the entire framework-res.apk from Liberty 1.5 so if you've made any other changes to the framework-res.apk this will over write them
MAKE A BACKUP BEFORE YOU INSTALL
I am not responsible for what you do to your phone
INSTALLATION (takin right from their instructions)
-boot into recovery via clockworks bootstrap
-select "mounts and storage"
-select mount /system
-go back "powerbutton"
-select "install zip from sdcard"
-select "choose zip from sdcard"
-find and select LibertyX-1.5_Cir_Bat.zip
-reboot

Enjoy Folks

I am going to use this zip to change the 3G .... the signal bars...

but do you know how to do make a zip from scratch?

from complete scratch, no... it took A LOT of googleing (googling?) to figure out the little I've learned so far. writing the install script I dont know how to do, but I found a basic one from one of the "how to" sites. I also stumbled across a zip signing tool that automatically signs the zips for you.
but basically you want to emulate all the files you see in there and place the proper items in the right place (ie framework-res.apk into the framework folder) that kind of thing. its hard to explain in a short way.
this thread may help you some too

thankx for the info! I am going to start reading and do my own updates and maybe next do a theme too =)

more power to ya! its a lot of work, but also (imo) worth it. just remember these two things.... backups are your friend AND if you ever bootloop and cant get it to go into clockwork recovery, plug your phone into a wall charger. clockwork recovery has a smart little default where if you turn the phone off (or pull the battery), plug it into a wall outlet, then turn it back on, it boots straight into clockwork recovery so you can restore your backup! that has saved my ass a few times

this is how mine looks but I did all the updates using Ninjamorph

Looks good! I wish I had the time to learn how to do it. Unfortunately being a Director of Operations for over 30 restaurants and bars doesn't leave much time for me and the family, let alone this.

Hopefully one day though! In the mean time, I will give my thanks to those who put out the zips, I really do appreciate it!

Circle batteries still going strong eh? Nice work!

Lol I like em. I can't take credit for the images though. They were toms from lib 1.0 but since I was bringing them over to 1.5 for myself I figured I might as well post it for others.
Personally I will be putting a circle battery on every rom I run I think. I love how it looks.

Yeah, looks great. After all that hell getting it onto Nextheme and Revo, it kinda got 'stale' for me :p.
