It filters calls based on your contact list. If you have work contacts, you can set it so that after a certain time, calls from Work won't bother you. You can do the same with the Family or Friends list. You can make up your own list too and have the phone not ring during certain times you don't want to be bothered.


I still haven't figured out gestures in messaging yet. Is it something that isn't functional yet? Because I see the trace marks but I don't see the menu where I can assign gestures to perform actions.

sounds like you dint flash the gapps package as reccomended at the beginning of the cyanagen nightlys discussion thread

i just flashed 27 right now and I am getting force closures up the wazoo. I dont know what the hell is going on. I did a full wipe and cache clear and installed the 1/20 gapps. I can't get most of my apps to open. Market works fine. I tried restarting multiple times.

Never really had this problem before. Anyone have any ideas?

nope.

its working fine for me... i flashed 27 on top of 26 wich was on top of 25 wich was on top of 23. assuming youre coming from 25 or 26 maybe restore your backup and then flash 27 without wipes?

im downloading 28 as i type. yay!

i have built 27, and if open up the msg app, and go to settings and go all the way down where you will see SMS templates, and then click templates (manage your sms templates) and then click on add a new template and then type in the word in the box that you want it to type when do the gesture and then below you can draw the gesture and then save it and it should work.

Has anyone noticed that the pictures you have taken with the phone running this ROM actually show up in the gallery. I have taken 5 or 6 pictures with this ROM and they don't show up in the gallery, but I can browse to them using Astro or the new built in file manager. They are there, have the same naming structure and everything. I'm running number 25 I believe. Could someone verify that they are seeing pictures they take in the gallery?

Other than Build #23, which broke my camera entirely, I haven't had a problem taking pics and them showing up in my Gallery ever with a CM7 nightly.

Flashing 28 now, 27 seemed to be the best so far for me. Smoothest + fastest yet, I'll see how 28 does for my phone.

I'm running Chevy's 1.1 ULV kernel and its been great on all of these nightlies

Thanks a bunch!!!! That helped. I updated to 28 anyway but ran that now I see them all in my gallery. I'll have to remember that for next time.

So has anyone been able to get DSPmanager to work with GB? Its crashed everytime for me on several different nightly builds.

Opened up fine for me on the first attempt, then when I tried to toggle settings, it force closed. I have honestly never used it for anything until people started making fuss about it not working. I still don't use it though, so as far as I'm concerned, the nightlies are perfect. Camcorder, gps, accelerometer, 3G after calls, etc. all work fine now and there's nothing broken for me to wait on a fix for.

Hmm, that's odd. They just released #30 right now at about 11:15 CST. This after #29 was released around 6 or 7, mere five hours before.

I'm trying to download #30 right now from my phone (I don't have internet at my house yet), but at 51% it's stuck on "Waiting for data conection," even though I'm on the forums on my phone right now and obviously have a data connection... guess I'll have to cancel and try again.

I have never had a nightly download all the way through on the first try. If using 3G, it seems like I get a call right around 70% and have restart because it doesn't pause the download...or something. Texts sometimes interrupt the download and I need to restart again. Pretty frustrating.

Sometimes I wonder why I'm so OCD about downloading the latest nightly. I don't notice much change from when I started back around 18-22. Seem stable enough to use and I should just upgrade every ten or so.

No, that doesn't happen often. But there's a 1.2 meg difference in filesize, so there's obviously added code in there. I'm just flashing now ... I'll try to see what's been added, if anything.

I usually can get a download in the first try, but not with ROM Manager. I just have the downloads page bookmarked and grab it that way.

Hey, Build #26 fixed the video camera. You never know what Build is going to fix the DSP Manager ... or add themes ... or whatever. (Feeding your OCD!)
