Sense V2 ROM Suggestions + A2SD / Data2SD Help Please

I wish to change back to a sense rom I think as I haven't been on one in ages, and I rather like them. However, I am thinking I would quite like to try a sense v2 rom, ported from the Desire Z / HD. Having a look on xda, there are about 10 serving this purpose. (Desire Android Development - xda-developers).

So what do you guys suggest I use? I would like it to have 720p recording, but that's my only criteria as well as sense 2. There are choices like...

- InsertCoin HD
- ReflexTsenseHD
- RCMixHD
- Avaritia HD
- Amongst many many others!

Problem is they all seem to differ slightly and I can't choose between them... so anyone has experience with any / recommend any?

Also, I currently use eMiui or Oxygen, so I have been using A2SD+ I think with an ext 2/3 partition. A lot of these mention ext 4, which I'm not sure if I have? Some mention Data2SD, and I haven't a clue what these are either. If anyone could help with this part of my question too, I would be very grateful :) (I only have a class 2 card by the way, but performs fine with A2SD). I don't want to lose data in upgrading, and I switch roms lots so I need to be able to move data between roms. A2SD works fine for me, I would just like a little bit more storage than what I get. Even with my 512mb partition it is limited, so is this the solution?

Thanks.

It is A2SD so would be fine to try. Does it include HTC locations app? And does it have all the sense skins like music lover , slate etc included?

Yes, it has HTC locations and Slate (which I use) but no music lover.

It a good rom, very fast and stable but if you have any issues, don't bother asking the dev on xda, he's an arrogant, defensive pos. ;)

I want a rom that has everything the desire z has. All the nice little tweaks, all the skins and all the apps. I tried a port before and it wasn't a full version, just more or less froyo sense with 2 skins.

This is a great port but you'll have to look through his thread to see if it it has everything you want. ;)

I'm looking for a nice rom with the max internal memory possible, any suggestions?

With a class 2, you definitely want to stay with A2sd. Data2sd will not perform. EXT is a newer file system. Many new custom kernels support this, but they always support 2 / 3 too, so you wouldnt need to change anything.

Is the 512 full? Or are you being limited by the internal memory?

You could increase the size of your ext partition using gparted:

1) Nandroid backup
2) Backup SD card
3) Boot into Gparted Live CD / USB
4) Increase and reformat EXT partition to 1GB
5) Copy contents back
6) Nandroid restore

You can increase your internal memory partition to a custom layout too. See my Sig link for details.

Hope this helps.

The A2SD+ partition has 75.08 mb free out of 458 (which is odd as it was definitely partitioned to 512). But my internal memory only has 41mb free, and this goes down really quickly. To be fair, I already have about 100 (inc default apps like contacts, maps etc) apps or so installed, but I want more!!

Also, I don't think I have Gparted? Is that a recovery... I boot into clockworks.

One more question... if all my app data is in my ext partition, do I need to delete it all every time I switch roms? As usually I clear everything before flashing a new one (inc devlik) and restore apps + data by titanium backup? If I didn't have to remove this ext data, I could just flash and reinstall apps? Much easier.
