Help High pitch sounds while calling on DL30

When I'm on the phone (with anyone) there is a high pitch sound coming through the ear piece intermittently... I flashed back into DI01 and tried DL05 and the calling was fine, but DL30 has the sound. Is anyone else having this problem or know a fix...?

Not on DL30, but I had it on DL09 running Super Clean. Was also getting crap signal, and dropping down to 1xRTT a lot.

I Odin'ed in the factory reset, and restored to where I was. Seems fine now.

Did that, twice actually. No go on that :/ Tried DL09 radio and DJ05, both the same.

just had the same thing happen to me today. funny this is I've been running dl30 since the day it leaked but only the past few days experiencing BT, GPS and call problems

I'm getting this on EB01 as well. Should I be concerned?

Well, EB01 took care of it for me... Or, maybe I got just the right combo of stuff done?

Someone mentioned that it has to do with auto brightness being adjusted when the screen comes on. I have turned off auto-brightness but still experience this.

It's horrible. It even happens when the phone is against my face and screen is off (sometimes).

I have EB01, SC2.4 voodoo, no themes.

I had it on DJ05, too.

Yeah I just figured that out too! During a call when the screen turns on from the proximity sensor, the noise presents itself. But when the screen is off there is no noise... Is this a software issue or a hardware issue??

Software most likely. There's no fix but its almost enough to make me return this unit for a new one.

Ok, I did some testing, and it seems the issue pops up with EB01 + Voodoo. I reflash back to stock, then upgrade back to EB01 stock deodex, no high pitched sound.

Bearly: Are you running stock? If so, it blows my troubleshooting out of the water.
