If you want to use BBM on Android, so far it's impossible... BBM is reserved for Blackberry devices.

Try to use programs like What's up, you can chat with Iphone, Android and BB users.

Is this What's up something like a YM or Gtalk? That must be installed in each phone to communicate?

its actually called WhatsApp. there is also another app out thats FREE called LiveProfile. u get a pin# when u set up an account. at first it was just for android users, now iphone users have it. soon blackberry will also.theres just waiting on approval. this is the closest ive seen to bbm BY FAR. they recently updated it so now we can transfer files. it has the R and D indicators when sending messages aswell.

What's APP now supports group chat.
I didn't try LiveProfile, but out of Ping and others What's App seems to be the best one out there.
All these needs to be installed in each phone.
