Do i really have to choose?? I want to run a bigger battery which means running a bigger back piece. However I already broke my galaxy s from dropping it and I am on the 2nd one now. I love the defender cases. Does anyone know if it will fit ?

Get yourself a neck strap, like the kind used on USB Flash Drives.

I pulled the neck strap off of my flash drive and put it on my Fascinate the instant I took the phone out of the box.

Damn good thing too, I have dropped it at least 10 times in the last 2 days. that phone is slicker than goose grease on Teflon.

I keep the strap wrapped around my wrist while using the phone. good, cheap insurance.

No seriously this phone is insane with slickness. Its how first one went to heaven last week lol. I was toying with the idea of a beefier batter but I would have to run a bigger back to accommodate it. I still want to run a case but I dont think the otterbox will be a option for me at that point. Maybe a diesel rubber case that will mold to it will work.

I went on eBay and bought a 5 piece accessory kit for my Fascinate. It has a wall charger, 2 1500 mA batteries, USB charging cord, and a car charger.

Total cost of $29.95 with free shipping. I happened to have a very tiny fanny pack and converted that to hold all of my cellphone paraphernalia now.

I am not going to get a bigger battery. Just flip in a new battery if I get caught short. I used my tape write to identify the batteries with a number. 1, 2, 3. That way if #2 dies, I pull out #3 and bootup the phone again. #1 is already dead or in the charger if need be. They all get exercised that way once in a while.

I sit a a desk a lot, when doing so, I just plug into the USB cord to the laptop and leave it charging. The BT headset is on also, so with the display configured to stay awake while on charge, that makes the thing a desktop communications center while I am working.

Next thing I am fixing up for it is a support to hold it at about 45 degrees for easy reading thru the day.

But you will look a little silly doing that.
