Replacement Question..

Hello all..

I was wondering if anyone could help me out with this scenario..if it's possible + what you would do..

I purchased a Droid X on 1/4/11 only for it to be replaced on 1/28/11 (defective camera button). I know once you get a new phone, you have 30 days to exchange it with VZW..does getting a replacement give you another 30 days with that phone?

If so, should I try to call VZW and try to talk them into giving me a Thunderbolt for the difference in price??

(all of this due to my eagerness to switch from blackberry over to droid without really doing ALL of my homework first..smh)

Thanks!

You only get 30 days from the date of purchase for exchanges/replacements of a new device. If i were you i'd go into a store and speak with a manager about getting a different phone, depending on who you talk to they may help you out but do it like today since you are already a few days past your 30. But understand they do not have to exchange it so don't get your hopes up. Expect them to say no and be relieved if they say yes

guys,

thanks so much for your insight.

there are a couple of other issues - not only the few you mentioned..i get random resets at times, seemingly for no reason. i also keep getting a ridiculous 'message not sent' error while texting..

you guys say definitely go into a store? i feel like i've always had better luck when calling CS in a scenario like this..thoughts?

Can't hurt to try 'em all :) The worse that will happen is that wherever you go will say no.
