TechnoBuffalo holding HTC Inspire 4G Giveaway!!!

Wow if you guys go to Techno Buffalo's front page and check out the Verizon vs ATT iPhone video it really isn't even close. Now im not interested in the iPhone what so ever but what I am interested in is seeing the same identical device on both networks. The guy doing the tests resides in Southern California, which both networks were at damn near full strength, and ATT absolutely crushed Verizon's 3G network speed. It wasn't even close, I was a bit suprised but this make me even more excited for when ATT does 'turn on the switch' for 4G HSPA+ backhaul in March! We all are going to have a nice network, with less iPhone users on now (hopefully ha!), and a beautiful 4.3 inch HTC phone with the new sense! I love me some ATT now!

And we still have 10 more Android devices to look forward to this year that we haven't even seen yet!

Finally someone who wants to talk about something. Yeah, I saw those videos. SoldierKnowsBest is STILL choosing the Verizon iPhone because of coverage. Boo hoo. Seriously, if you can't live without a signal in a few states then you a no lifer. But I do respect SKB, even tho he chooses Verizon over the all-powerful at&t:D! The speeds were ridicules on at&t compared to Verizon. What was it, 2.something megs down to .4 something megs down??? LOL. Verizon. iPhone. It still sucks.

Matt

EDIT: I forgot to mention that when I looked at the map that shows the current mobile broadband and future mobile broadband on at&t's website that I saw that Joplin, MO is (most likely) going to be part of HSPA+ early on! I say this because it is in our area on the map and Joplin is the biggest city around here.

I guess if you are traveling to remote areas around the country often it would matter. To me and you, it does not. Yeah ATT's 3G speed was at 2.6 or so compared to Verizon's that couldnt even hit 1mbps speed's lol. You could also tell just by the guy in the video doing a regular browser speed test by hitting both phones at the same time. It still wasn't even close. I can wait 6 more months for LTE to roll out with HSPA+ backing it up and literally then be a part of the fastest and most reliable network, hands down.

Now that Apple isn't messing with AT&T's ability to compete in the Android market I think over the next 2 years your going to see the awakening of a sleeping giant. I mean this is the same company that did in fact land the first generation iphone on an exclusive contract with Apple. Im not an iPhone fan but it was ground breaking at the time and its good to see AT&T realize that the iPhone has been surpassed and more users want more options. I've been with them for 6+ years and glad I stuck with them because its obvious they have aligned Android into their long term competitive strategy. Seeing how large they are, we all know damn well they will be getting some amazing Android powered devices.

Verizon = better coverage if you make calls...who uses their smart phone for phone calls?? Not me.

i want FAST data. AT&T wins.

Besides....there are a number of places where AT&T works and verizon does not. Like my sisters house in Pleasant Garden NC and my Brothers house in Sumter SC.

"can you hear me now" my A$$.

My family mostly lives in Jackson NJ and there are areas there big ones where their verizon phones dont work but our AT&T ones do ;)
