Root Need ROM Suggestion

Hey guys I'm usually over in the Moto Droid forum but my friend has a Vibrant. She says the battery life stinks, after about 200 texts she says about half the battery is gone.
I noticed after I rooted and was using a rom it increased my battery life greatly whilst increasing speed. (ChevyNo1's Simply Stunning 4.9)

What do you guys recommend for something that increases battery life and increases or does not hinder performance?

I'm using this ROM right now and it's okay on battery life. Better than stock or any other ROM I have used...

For battery life, Eugene's Ginger Clone w/super IO is the way to go. It may not be the newest, fastest, etc. but it will hold on to a charge like nothing else for vibrant.

I would highly suggest M - Flagship. Probably the most polished ROM i have used and has a very "miui-ish feel.

Also I would give Trigger a go as well. Has given me the best battery life so far and is very snappy and smooth.

Both are very solid, will increase battery life and will for sure increase (10X) performance.

Trigger 2.8.1 is quite nice, and the theme is beautiful!

Trigger has always been nice, but trigger is a 2.2 ROM, and once you break them in, I have found the JS7 2.2.1 ROMs are MUCH faster, with comparable battery life. I highly suggest Atriarc. That ROM is smokin fast, and with the overstock kernel 1.5(undervolted) it sips battery ever so nicely.

darkys new 9.5 is hot there working out the bugs..it is great..im now running trigger 2.8.1 with tigersblood overclock kernal...the carnage theme.......run to xda its awesome fast and very snappy.http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1003283

Been awhile since I flashed a new rom. What is the newest firmware/build version.
I am on Axura. firmware 2.2 and build 2.3.1.2 kernel 2.6.32.9 and ready for something new.

Hmmm, good question. I think the one thing I would look for is support in case I have a problem , which I often do. Always something simple though.

Ummm , I use my phone more for music, movies and games than I do for a phone. What would you recommend for something like that. Not too worried about battery life . have extra battery and charger at work, home and car.

I would use a 2.2.1 ROM with MIUI music on it. You will really enjoy the media experience on that. Cruise around on XDA for a night and read through all the features. 2.2.1 is the way to go in that respect.

I just got tigger on my phone and its running bad @$$ don't know bout the battery life though gotta test it out for a day

Ok I have use my phone all day with trigger and I have to say its freaking bad@$$ I ran wifi all day along with internet downloading apps and listening to music to try and see what it would do with the battery life and after all that I still got 40% 12 hours later

i put bionix1.3.1 on my girls phone and its as fast as speed of light fast. lol. really fast.

so i add the Dragon-Kernel-OC-v5.2 to my Trigger rom and it seems to mix well i feel a little more resonse speed and in comparing to bionix phone in other hand its faster give it a go
