Travian App

I play quite heavily on the uk server of Travian.co.uk, and browsing through my Magic is perfectly fine, but it would be easier and much more tidy if there were a working app for it.

Bit of a large ask (I presume), but if the demand is there then maybe something to persue?

This really should be something that the makers of Travian should develop (I'm a past player), as they're the ones making the money from it.

Just started playing this a couple of days ago. It's a great game and works very well in the stock browser. A well made app would be nice too though.

adding my 2 cents. would love to see a travian app. it's decent in the browser, but could be so much better. selecting cities and troops is doable, but very time-consuming.

I've been having a lot of serious debates with the Travian staff about this - I got two forums shut down on me because I was supposedly disobeying the rules.
Long story short, no go on the app. It's considered a "modified browser," which is strictly prohibited in the rules. I tried reasoning with them, but the staff and mods on the forums refused to listen.

That said, if you want to design an app anyways and need help, count me in.

Here you have some pictures, they are REAL pictures of the prototype working on speed.travian.net (v3.5). The app was tested in s6.travian.net (v3) too.

Testes on HTC G1 (Android 2.1 ) over WiFi connection.
The loading speed is good. The images are not downloaded, just HTML. GZIP compression is integrated .

this is an excellent idea i love this game and an app would be perfect for when im away from my comp...the browser is fine but a dedicated app would be so much better

Using this app can be cosidered like using modified browser, so the repercutions are the same if you use "Travian Beyond" or "Travian Babysitter".
