Root Simple ROOT question

This is a pretty simple question for all ROOT users out there. I'm rooted with myn warm 2.2 and i just had one question. Would a visual mod decrease battery life at all?

Assuming you mean a mod that affect theming, the answer is *probably* not, but it depends on a few things, such as what the ROM was designed for and what exactly it's changing (theming has to be done in just a couple framework files). As a general rule, you're probably fine, but make sure the mod is known to be compatible. Do you have an example of something you want to try?

On Myn warm 2.2 I did the desire flip clock mod to the stock HTC weather/clock widget and I did the completely clear launcher bar and it just seemed that my battery life decreased ever so slightly. I mean I still get over 2 days on one charge so I'm not really complaining, just wondering haha

Hehe, that's probably due to something else. Those mods wouldn't do that. Did you flash any different kernels or install any new apps recently?
