Paid Apps - What's Worth the $?

I've been sticking to unpaid apps so far, but I think I'll start buying a few. What have you found that's worth the money?

(Yes, there have been previous threads about this; I looked at them and they were helpful. But the last one was a long time ago, so I thought I'd see if there are any updates!)

I'm already thinking about Tasker and the paid version of Launcher Pro.

Those are 2 of my top choices.

Also if you use Facebook "Flow" is awesome. AppAlarm Pro is great. WidgetLocker is the best lockscreen replacement I have found.

Other than those I have bought some live wallpapers, emulators, games, plus a few root specific apps (root explorer, ROM manager premium, etc)

For photo editing I personally like Photoid Pro

Beautiful widgets is nice too, forget about that one :)

It's so hard to tell what's best because the free versions don't give you full access to the features most of the time.

Once I saw I could do this with picsay, I bought it.

How difficult is it to do that? I can do the same thing with photoid but I have to "paint" the areas I want to make b/w. That it's the only thing I don't like about photoid

It's pretty much the same with picsay.
You can either make the pic all color or B/W, then change what you want by moving your finger.

So it can be a bit difficult to get all of the right spots. This is the first time I've seen the pic I posted at full size, now I can see I colored the trees on the left side of the car.

Beautiful Widgets
Music Player Pro
xscope(if you like the browser)
Astro(if you can't deal with adds)
Launcher Pro Plus or ADW depending on which one you like better

If you are rooted then droid x bootstrap and possibly the paid versions of rom manager and titanium backups, although I've found the free versions to be enough for me.

It really depends what your needs and wants are. I would recommend a full version of your favorite launcher, a backup utility, and your favorite keyboard would all be worthy investments. I need Touchdown for Exchange because it simply works better with Exchange than any other solution I've found.
