Root Just installed EB01 (mybackup question)

I'd put this in the EB01 thread but I don't know if it's an EB01 problem or a mybackup problem

I used mybackup to backup my contacts/sms/etc before flashing to EB01, and now afterwards I keep getting a "Could not get backup set" error when I try to restore my data from the backup.

A few google searches on the error aren't helping.

Did you save it to card or online? Also if you are using the free version its a 30 day trial..has it been longer than that?

Sorry. I used the free version, as the only difference that I noticed was saving to sd card and online.. and I thought the sd card would give me no problems. I rooted my phone for the first time today... so I haven't even had mybackup for 24 hours, lol

after I saved it to the sd card and before I flashed eb01, I made a copy of the 'reware' folder to my laptop.

Did you install the stock eb01? It may be a problem because its phone data you are trying to restore did anything like apps restore?

I installed superclean 2.2


I can't restore anything.. it gives that error either way

Looks like this app is causing problems with a few ppl in the reviews. I personally use titanium backup for this reason. But have you tried to manually go into sd card and look for the info?

yeah. like I said, I copied the data to my laptop before flashing. after it didn't work, I copied it again to a few different places


so far I've tried:
rerware\mybackup
sd\rerware
sdcard\sd\rerware\mybackup
external_sd\rerware\mybackup

typing that reply made me realize my mistake.

I was naming the folder "reware" instead of "rerware"

Well I'm glad you got it all squared away. Its usually the simple things that make us say huh lol
