Root Rooted now what

Just got done rooting now what should I do?
What should I download

id say get an app called droid 2 recovery bootstrap and bootstrap, go into the recovery, and make a backup. then look for custom roms and themes and most have directions on how to do it

Certainly backing up is key. After that you can go to the different ROM threads and try those out.

I'm using titanium for back up is that fine?

not sure, i think ti only backs up apps and you want to back up everything in case something goes wrong... the whole bootstrap recovery thing should only take like 10 min and id say its the safest way to go, plus youll need a recovery to download different roms anyways

bootstrap first, then when its done reboot recovery

Lemme guess I want to backup it from the command list? And I'm not supposed to be doing this on a comp am I? Lol

haha no u dont need a computer for this, it should say something like backup or nandroid. but after you do this i would copy the backup folder onto your computer incase something happens to your sd

What rom and theme do you suggest I use lol I have no clue where to start

i like liberty but the easiest would be to download fission rom manager, that has roms and themes made by team DeFuse. as for themes there should be links laying around the forum or you could download an app called metamorph

So I just click the rom I want and click download and it will install it?

on fission? i think you have to download the rom by clicking it then boot into recovery using the droid 2 bootstrap. MAKE SURE YOU WIPE DALVIK CACHE AND FACTORY RESET BEFORE YOU INSTALL THE ROM. after that click install from sd card (or something similar to that) and go into the fission folder and the rom should be in there. then install. reboot. theme.

The newest fission because it was easiest I'll prolly end up changing it when I have more time

Should I overclock it? And what else should o do other then the rom? What theme do you suggest

To use droid pirate:
1.download metamorph and open it, if you dont already have busybox, install it (busybox installer from market)
2.download what you want from droidpirate and save them where they are easy to find
3.mount your phone to the computer and put the files you want into the AndroidThemes folder (if there isnt one make a new folder and name it that)
4.unmount then open metamorph
5.pick what one you want and install, it should reboot when done
