Root Trouble Flashing Lou's Kernel #8

Hey guys

I just flashed Incredibly Re-engineered last night and tried to flash Lou's kernel #8 today. I've done this plenty of times before, but for some reason something isn't working right. I downloaded the zip to my sd card and booted into recovery and cleared cache and dalvik cache. Then when I go to install from zip and pick the kernel, it keeps saying cannot open /sdcard/download/HeyItsLou_Custom_Sense_Kernel_8_FINAL.zip (bad) installation aborted. Can anyone tell me what's up? Thanks

Sounds like a corrupt download, try redownloading.

There's no need to flash this as Lou's #8 comes built into IR 2.3

No seriously you have #8 installed stock with IR 2.3 disregard what it says under software information on your phone.

Thanks guys. I read up more on it and it is 8. But the problem still is that the phone gave me the same message when I tried to flash 9 last night. Look at original post for message. Any guesses? Both 8 and 9 were downloaded from the same site.

Do you have cw 3.x.x? Downgrade to 2.5.1.2 via rom mgr and try to flash again.
