Thinking about taking mine back

I dont know if anybody has had any similar problems, but my phone has had a few bugs that are really beginning to get on my nerves. first thing that happened the vibrate went out whenever i touch any of the home buttons, it still bothers me it doesnt vibrate anymore when i touch back or the home screen button, but i could get over that. Next problem I had is the time automatically got set back an hour! wtf? then i do a soft reset on my phone, the time is right at first, then goes back to being one hour slow 30 seconds later? So i had to manually set my time. Now im getting irritated, next thing i noticed, I live in indianapolis, and I look at my phone and the weather for my "current location" says bowling green i have no idea where the hell that is but i looked it up and its hours away from me! I know these things dont sound like a big deal but i just bought the phone monday and the bugs are really bothering me.

also something very strange i have to note, my phone had a voice recording saved in it when i first got the phone, from January 19th, and its somebody watching the simpsons? maybe testing the device? idk


any suggestions to help me fix this bullshit? lol

On another note, today my icons on the home screen became unresponsive when tapping on any of them, and then all of a sudden my screen went black - Pulled the battery and now everything seems to be ok

You do know there are settings on the phone that turn off the vibration of the home capacitive buttons right? Its under the sound options.

Likewise there are options on the phone for synching the correct location information under the gps settings and sync time intervals.

If someone was playing with the phone prior to you, it is entirely possible the setting are all screwed up.

As far as the clock do you live near a time zone change area? I would think a manual force to the correct would not be a deal breaker for the clock..it may have been reading the time from an incorrect tower.(depending on its synch time interval settings and network conditions). Its also possible it was still pulling info some how from where ever the previous person playing with it was located and might take a day or so to synch up correctly (seen it before).

I dont think the phone is buggy i think someone before you was playing with it (probably one of the AT&T sales people the night before it was sold...

Edit: I once had a BRAND NEW OUT OF THE BOX GPS unit tell me i was in malasia and i had to leave it on for nearly 2 ficken hours before it FINALLY zeroed in on my correct position......after that it ran perfectly from then on..... You get the point....some times there are very WEIRD behaviors the first 24 to 48 hours....ESPECIALLY if some idiot has gone in and turned off features or changed things..
