Optumus M vs V

I'm just curious if anyone has done a comparison between the Optimus M on MetroPCS and the Optimus V on Virgin Mobile? Are the phones comparable? What about the companies? Metro vs Virgin? They both use CDMA and my area (Dallas) seems to have similar coverage.

Any thoughts and knowledge would be helpful.

The only thing I noticed was that the M has slightly more available memory and the V has a slightly better screen (same res but more colors). They are very similar on the inside basically. Virgin uses the Sprint network I believe. You would likely have 3G data with them, but I doubt it would really be that much faster in the real world. They also offer different plans, but the one like Metro's is $60/mo. They also do not do family discounts.

Just my opinion . But my girl has the m and I have the v. Starting with networks (orlando area) The virgin mobile (sprint) network is really faster then the metro network, and it is noticeable.
Looks: the v looks more pretty whereas the v feels kinda cheapish. I didn't like the feel of it till I got the protective case and now it feels good.
speed: Honestly I don't care what the processor is cuz they both feel the same when you play games and can both do about the same thing.
Gingerbread updateable: I don't think that the optimus v or the m will personally see the gingerbread update for awhile. BUT! It will be really really easy to port it to the v since the v and s are both the same whereas it's gonna take some kinda magic to get it to work on the m ( don't worry I got yah)
Money: 60 unlimited virgin 45 unlimited on metro and who knows if they are going to change that?

I assume you meant the M looks more pretty whereas the V is cheapish? Since you have the V...

Thanks everyone, for your thoughts. My wife and I decided to go with Metro and so we'll be gettin' the M. Metro looks like it'll be the best deal for the price.
