Help Default Browser Issue

Okay, I have the Dolphin HD browser installed on my samsung captivate, and it is set as my default browser. However, when I click on the browser button on the bottom to open it, it opens a blank page in the stock browser every time over the Dolphin browser which is supposed to be the default. Any ideas on what I should do? It's really frustrating.

First, welcome!

Hmmm. Can't be sure, but it sounds like the Dolphin launch icon is somehow linked to the native browser. I'd uninstall Dolphin, then re-download it to see if it begins to launch itself.

I did try that :/ It happened with Opera Mini too, so I'm pretty sure it has something to do the stock browser.

You need to map the stock browser icon to Dolphin. Depending on what launcher you're using (the procedure is a littl different from one to another).

Some launchers allow for simply dragging the Dolphin icon from the home screen to the dock, right over the top of the stock browser icon. In ADW you have to make sure the trash can is at the top or not enabled, otherwise the dock will vanish as you long press the icon and you'll merely be removing the icon from the screen instead of transferring it to the dock.
