Root Might of Messed UP

1) How big did you make the ext partition? (And did you convert it to ext3? Not that important for you specific issue, but just checking.)
2) How much space do you have left on the main partition (where you copied all your files back to)?
3) What ROM are you trying to flash?
4) Have you ever flashed it before?
5) Have you tried flashing any other ROMs/mods?
6) Is there more of an exact error message, or does it just say aborted, and that's it?

HOW TO PARTITION YOUR SDCARD:
1) Back up your SDCard to your PC. Creating an ext3 partition WILL WIPE YOUR CARD.
2) I recommend using Amon Ra 2.3 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...postcount=2093) for partitioning your card. For instructions on flashing go here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=705026).
3) In Amon Ra Recovery, do the following: Partition sdcard > Partition SD (when it asks you for Swap Size, enter 32 - for Partiton Size, enter 512).
4) Once it is done, do the following: Partition sdcard > SD: ext2 to ext3.
5) That's it! Your card is now partitioned with an ext3 - ur a genius! (Do NOT attempt to create an ext4 as Darktremor Apps2SD on MikFroyo is not designed to work with ext4).
6) Copy all of the data back from your PC onto your SDCard

Im trying to flash Kings Unreleased, Mikfroyo, Azrael CM 7. None of them go on.

I flashed Multiple times before, Its just the partion thing got me messed up.

No other error messages.

I partioned the card or think I did. I have mike froyo 4.5 loaded. Memory card has 14.32 internal memory has 314 mb with all my apps loaded. In Titanium Back up it shows the sd card with 600mb available with 525 mb free. Used only 75mb. I must of messed up somewhere
Ok, where are you at now? How much space do you have left on the card? Are you able to browse the card?

mount|grep /system/sd Like that or like this
mount/grep /system/sd
So you were able to flash the ROM, then? Are you using a2sd? Just partitioning the card is only part of the process. There are a lot of ways to verify it's there, though. Open a terminal emulator, and type this:

mount|grep /system/sd

Do you get any output? If so, what does it say?

Ok getting busy box now, still getting the same no file found message.

I started over using this method below and it seems that it wipes the sd CARD then you have to way of loading a ROM even after going back to load. That is when I get the error that it is aborted.

Install:
DOWNLOAD Beta 4

Special thanks to Danthony for putting this together for us!

Before you even start, to use this correctly you need atleast a class 4 sd card, some even say class 6, but i have run it on a stock class 2 card without issues so do whatever at your own risk.

1. This requires a full data wipe factory reset, so do it right when your going to flash the new rom. Wipe everything.

2. Partition the sd card. I used ra recover to do this, and its easy so i suggest you do the same. Make swap 0 unless you want a swap partition then make it 32, next make your ext 512mb but if you have the space do 1024, which i did. the rest will be fat32.

3. wipe cache, dalvik, and sd ext again just to be safe.

4. flash the rom (in this case kings ultra froyo), boot up and sync your accounts and such.

5. download terminal emulator from market

6. open terminal app and begin by typing su

7. then type system/bin/a2sd check . if your cache is not running from sd then type in a2sd cachesd , this will run and then your phone will automatically reboot itself.

8. when your phone starts back up go back into terminal emulator and start with su again. Then type a2sd zipalign. let it run through and exit terminal.

9. You're Finished! all of your apps that are compatible (which will be damn near all of them with this a2sd) will be on the ext partition, and everything you install from here on out will automatically move to the ext partition for you. Unlike stock froyo a2sd, even when your apps are all installed on the ext, the widgets are fully functional and everything works completely. Hope you all love this as much as i do, i have around 140 apps installed plus all the apps from the rom that came stock, and i still have 340mb internal space free.

Titanium backup uses it's own version of busybox, which it stores in some other location. In order to use busybox commands from the terminal, it has to know where to find it, and have the right version. You need to install it from the market even if you installed it from Titanium Backup.
