I'm new to android and have a question. Been a BlackBerry user for a while and haven't much thought about rooting that phone but I have been a little upset with all the bloatware on the phone that I can't get rid of.

If you root the phone does it void the warranty?
while doing this process is it possible to Brick the phone so it is unusable?

Just a couple of questions.

You'll have to check Motorola's warranty policies. I don't want to lead you astray.

It voids your warranty, but the process is pretty easy and safe. You can un-root your device if you need to take it back to the store for a refund.
