What is the most expensive att phone to get without a data plan?

So I have a Vibrant but want to add myself on the family plan with AT&T. Was planning on getting a phone with a 2 year contract if I can resell it... anyone know which phone is the most expensive one? Is it the Samsung Evergreen or LG Encore?

Are you planning to unlock your Vibrant to use it on AT&T and sell the free phone that AT&T gives you for signing a contract?

If that is your plan, the Pantech phones are the best free phones that don't require you to sign up for a data plan. The Pursuit and Impact are both selling for $90-120 on e-Bay.

Just in case didn't know, it is possible to use the Vibrant on AT&T's 1900 mhz 3G frequency for broadband data. Confirmed: Galaxy S unlock codes are stored in your phone, Vibrant capable of AT&T 3G

yeah i know.. that's my plan. do the dumbphone $10 data plan to get unlimited. $10 to add to family plan + dumbphone 3g so $20 a month. i already unlocked my phone btw.

i've been researching and i think it's down to the samsung evergreen or the lg encore... they both can fetch $150 on ebay.

my math shows... 2 years at $20 a month = $480 - $150 for the phone = $330 for 2 years with unlimited data. $13.75/mo. that's a hell of a plan.
