Decision Just Got Tougher

Just got out of the ATT store and I think I have made my first android phone decision a lot tougher. I have to admit my two three trips to the store to see if an atrix display model had arrived I snubbed the Inspire not even giving it a second look, mostly because I really wanted a front facing camera and had concerns about the battery. Well after spending about 30 minutes with the phone in store and almost walking out with it, I will say the Atrix has a lot to live up to. Irregardless I am android amazed....can't wait for my first droid phone whichever it may be but the Inspire definitely has me intrigued.

I was going to hold out for the Atrix. But I bought my device with no contract since I can't upgrade yet.

Honestly, I thought about how much I really would use the front-facing camera and if the build quality of the Atrix would match up with the HTC. After owning several Moto's and HTC devices the Inspire was a no brainer. I've had it since Thursday and I can't believe how smooth the phone is and performance/battery is spectacular.

I think you would be happy either way.

The Atrix build quality will blow away the HTC. MOTO overbuilds their phones now days. Heck, I remember having a razr and that was a rock. I would totally wait for the Atrix. That phone is going to be a beast.

Are you tripping on acid lol the razr had numerous issues and many people returned that POS. Don't think the atrix is all roses friend there are a lot if issues already being noted with the display and apps not.rendering or not being compatible because of the dual core.
The inspire is a solid phone with amazing all aluminum body a beautiful 4.3 inch super LCD screen that is smooth fast and lag / bug free.

Well...coming from using only iPhones since 2007 im extremely happy with the Inspire. I also think that by the time these "dual core" phones can actually stretch their legs ill be able to upgrade again and im sure HTC will have one.

Im fairly certain i will get a solid year of good life out of this phone before it becomes obsolete...because spec sheets definently arent everything.

From the looks of the HTC I really like the interface and as matter of fact would prefer it to what I have seen out of Motorola. I too was a big iPhone guy since their inception until recently going back to a Blackberry for email purposes, but I like to do too many things that the Blackberry can't do well and I missed the bigger touch screen phone.

I think you will love the inspire. I came from all iterations of iPhone and I love this phone

Choosing between the two would be tough, especially when you can hold one in your hand. However, I am positive that I made the correct choice for me with the Inspire. I fell for the spec hype once and moved from my Aria to the laggy captivate, never again will I do that. Although Moto in my opinion is better then samsung. Hope you do enjoy whatever phone you get and welcome to android!! WOOO!!! :D

I had a Razr and what I'll forever remember is how much and how quick lint got INSIDE the screen, so if they were rocks, they were lint-filled. Anyhow, back to the Inspire, I'm very happy with it and was just teaching myself Swype.

The build quality of the Inspire is almost impossible to beat. I'm not kidding either. They could have possibly combined all the removable parts under one door but overall the phone is about as well built as it gets.

That doesn't mean I'm saying it's the best phone but it literally is the most solid phone (with a user replaceable battery) you'll find.
