i have a rooted evo and have flashed several roms already. My problem is every time i download a rom from xda-devlp. they download as a folder into my mac not a zip file. i place it on the root of my sd card and when i go into recovery and try to flash the rom it just opens as a folder and i cant flash the rom. ive used rom manager to flash roms before in the app it self. help is much appreciated. thanks.

Safari automatically unzips files when you download them, so what you gotta do is go in your trashcan and find the zip file you downloaded and drag it out of there so you can use it.

Any suggestions on roms? so far i like it..just the battery seems to be dying quick but i hat that problem also with myn rom. ive used set cpu and it was ok but could be better, right now after reading other forums I am using overclock widget but the battery is still going down to fast for me..ive set it at low frequency when the screen is off..and i have just been texting and browsing the phone (not using the internet browser) but the battery is still going to fast. Any suggestions on how to save some more battery?.
