Help Text message sigs?

android does so much im suprized I cant seem to add a sig on my text essages well as far as i know you cant. is it possible to add a signature to your text messages on HTC evo 4g?

Hmm, I thought you just hit menu-settings in the messaging app, but I guess not. The only way would be to stop using the stock messaging app, and use a third party app, like Handcent or Chomp.

I was able to do it on my Droid 2 stock text app.
Open the app, hit menu - message settings - scroll down, check the message signature box - edit signature.

If you do indeed find the option to set the signature, I expect you to come back to this thread and state how surprised you were that you could not find it.

I don't have that option on my Eris.

The EVO 4g doesn't hae it either.

In the stock App it wont work. you have to get a third party messaging app from the android store

also keep in mind that your sig will count against the 160 char per txt limit....and may force single txts get split into two messages
