Help Dropped my HTC Inspire 4g

I guess since no one has reported the durability of the Inspire 4g in an actual drop. Here is my story. I was getting the baby car seat out of our car and the phone is in my front pocket. The car seat hit my pocket just at the right angle to push it out of my pocket.

It dropped from about 4.5 feet onto the parking lot. It went end over end hitting corners and finally slid about 6 inches on the screen. It only has very minor dings on the corners, the screen didn't scratch and only has a few scuffs on the batt. door.

It was an epic fall from my pocket. I was pissed, i cussed. Then I looked at my phone and saw the damage and was surprised. It was minor. Sooo..good job HTC.

Here's the case I use, when I put it in my front pocket where I prefer to carry it. I like to use the phone without a case, so this is perfect for carrying.

The pictures don't do this excellent case justice. It's looks big and bulky, when indeed it's very thin, yet nicely padded and made of high quality material.

Best of all, you can stop by any Target Store and pick one up. I use them for all my smartphones.

I've dropped a phone in this case from 5 feet, onto the pavement and theres not one mark on the case or the phone.

Once I showed my friends they all got them and now we don't have to use screen protectors, or cases that stay on the phone.

It's also easy to remove the phone from the case really quickly as it's not a tight fit.

Cheers

Unfortunately i dropped my Inspire today. I was at the ortho and i had the phone on my chest. I forgot to grab my phone while i was getting up from the dental chair and my phone dropped. It bounced on its face and landed face up. Thankfully I had a Speck case to protect my phone. No scratches on the screen but of course minor scrapes on the back of the case but thats what its on for.

That just made me shiver like a baby after it peed.

Was talking on mine and it fell from my shoulder area, I tried to catch it and failed, but my hand bumped it. It landed on the top right corner then fell on the screen and skated across the asphalt... scratches all over the screen, but NO damage to the body. Could have been worse, but I'm upset...

Got the phone on tuesday, I was pulling the sim-card bottom door off and it totally bent in my hand. Basically the door creased down the middle and folded up like a taco. I bent it back and it's on the phone, but all jacked looking at the bottom - kind of wavy under the HTC logo. The batter door doesn't sit flush either.

I went to ATT store but they said they weren't expecting cases/screen protectors for a week or so - so I ordered a case online.

It's a work phone so i'm not too worried about it.

I don't know how it happened, it just kind of crumpled in my hand. I was pulling it off w/my thumb and index finger and it just bent right in half as soon as I got it off the main phone section. It's a work phone, so there's no store I can exchange it to. I'll just throw the case on and not worry about it :)

stay away from the gym, you maniac!
