Root Using Gingerbread v1.2 - Having a couple of issues..

Past couple of days I've been having a couple of minor issues, one being the battery life icon/bar, its been giving me innacurate readings, when I unplug the phone in the morning it will stay at 100% for about 5 hours, then it will just drop to 50, sometimes it will go up then back down, today it went from 100-50-40 where its at now, on the "About Phone" section it gives the same %. Never had this issue prior to rooting and it was working fine at first.

My other issue is with the browser, I'm going to be trying new ones I was using the stock browser and at random when I hit the home screen to do something else or I just lock the phone n don't use it for a while, when I open up the browser it starts from the homepage instead of the page I left off.

Any feedback to help solve these issues is much appreciated

As far as the browser reopening at your home page after a while, that is normal. Also, please define more clearly what you mean by Gingerbread v1.2.

I'm not sure how exactly. I downloaded off a website, it was called Liquid's Gingerbread V1.2 and thats what it says on the "About phone" section. I just followed a custom rom step by step and installed a random one I could find. Are there better ones?

dont worry no dumb questions only stupid answers lol.

Ok turn the phone off. Then slide open the keyboard and press and hold the X key. Then tower on ther phone. once you see the M logo release the power button but dont let go of the X key. It will take a bit for it to go in to recovery. once it does let go of the X key.

now if you have clock work recovery scroll down to advance and click that. then it will be like I think 3 to the last and will say battery stat. click that and follow what it tells you to do. then reboot system

Ok, did that. Still having the "%d%%" when its locked, Ill have to wait till I recharge the phone before knowing if it fixed the % on the homescreen.

there is no best roms. only what peoples likes the most. I am running petes gingerbread rom. others runs UD, Nightleys and so on. some droids dont run a certain rom good but the same rom on another persons droid might run it fine. its basically find what runs great on your droid. Dont worry what others are running. Whats nice about roms you can flash over and over and dotn have to do anything special.
