I have absolutely had it with my droid through verizon. I am sure it is just because I don't understand something, but this is flat ridiculous to try to download new apps. I have a couple apps that I have on my PC that I want to put on my droid. download python, download this download that, move this here change that......give me a break........it shouldn't be this frickin complicated. I am almost sorry that I got this phone, which really sucks because I was really excited about it.

Most of the time, you use the market app on the phone, search for it,a nd downlaod it there and then, which just installs it and gets it running.

I'm on day three with my Droid. I must have downloaded over twenty APPS with no problems. I even uninstalled APPS, again no problems.

I can do the ones thru market its the apps that I got as a package deal that I have to install from my pc to the droid. they want me to download a platform for python then add something else then I am supposedly able to start putting the apps on the droid........if it was only this easy.

I am talking about apps that I got as a package deal, now I have them on a memory stick and have to install to pc through a platform(python) then something else and then I am supposed to be able to do it.......but, it doesn't work

No, windows 7........just kidding...they are an apps package that is now on my memory stick and I have to put them onto my desktop through a platform(python) then download something else and then try to install the apps.....but/........doesn't work

Welcome to the Android SDK!

No, I'm attempting to install the sdk manager, which is what it says to do to install or update SDK components such as platforms, tools, add-ons, and documentation.....I'[m not stupid and trying to program the phone

It has nothing to do with downloading apps for the phone. To blame Droid or Verizon is flat out ridiculous, as much as I hate Verizon.

yes, I get that. I downloaded an app package online for the droid. To install the apps I have to first(1st) download the sdk manager to my pc so that I may use the pc to transfer the data(apps) to the droid.
