When I set a high res wallpaper by cropping it through the gallery, it sets it in the preview size very pixely. However, when I choose set wallpaper on a picture on the browser, it uses the full resolution.
Anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?

[Update] Wallpapers set correctly when I use QuickPic's Wallpaper applier

If it's like the Captivate, it should use twice the width to accomodate the horizonal scrolling, so 1080x960

Let me size something up and test it!

Yep, it looks good. Took a large image, cropped it to a 1080x960 JPG, copied it over, set it with Astro - scrolls, looks good, etc.

When I set it and the crop control came up, I made sure I selected the entire image (since it was already the proper size).

Hope that helps!

Thanks DT!

Also, when I hit the lock button, it acts as if i hit the home button as well.(if I'm in an app, when i unlock it it takes me back to the homescreen, or if i'm on the homescreen it takes me to the seven screen preview) Any idea on how to change this? I went through settings for a while to no avail.
