Just Downloaded FROYO 2.2 via Kies Mini

I've verified that it actually works. Here are a couple of things I've noticed right off the bat:

- Regarding Mobile AP/USB Tethering: "A Tethering/Mobile Hotspot plan is required to use the service."

New apps:
- Car Home
- Desk Home (not sure if this was in the leak or not): Basically is a clock that gives you access to alarm, daily briefing, music, voice search, and gallery.
- Galaxy S Support (basically a bookmark)
- Media Hub actually works

I'm sure there are a ton of different changes, but that's all I've noticed so far.

All of those apps were in the leak.

It's official, after MONTHS of waiting, It's finally here!!!!! I'm running the official release of Froyo on my Cap right now. I downloaded via Kies Mini, running Vista. Total process takes about 20 minutes. Get it NOW!!!!! :D
I am getting an error with Kies Mini - it starts the download but gets and error at 70% - I am running Win7 64bit (and that may be the issue)

Haha, ok. Thanks.

What were the known issues with the leak? Let's see if we can see if they were fixed. Otherwise, I'm going back to the leak so I don't have to deal with this Mobile AP being locked down.

I'm not sure. AFAIK I didn't have any issues with the leak, I just can't root it. I've tried z4root and Super one-click and neither worked.

Mobile AP was supposedly working for me, but just shut off because I don't have a tethering plan.

Dumb question, but since you have gone through it before I do I'd like an answer. They say to backup all the files etc, and I was wondering did the update delete anything? I really don't feel like rooting my phone, or buying a program for a 1 time use. I don't have anything of real importance on my phone (text, photos, music) other than my contacts. I only have a couple of free apps on my phone that I could redownload if need be. So does the update delete any of these?

Menu -> Settings -> Applications -> USB Settings -> Make sure the correct thing is selected here. Should be something like "Kies (Firmware update)" or "Application" something or other.

Also, make sure if you're running LauncherPro or another home replacement that you exit it and have TouchWiz launcher running.
When I go to the tab on Kies the only opitons I have are about and exit
