Help Strange data 'leak'?

I had a very unusual data issue yesterday that I cant figure out.
So when i

How do I find out which one?

If you don't have a watchdog type of app which gathers that data:

First find out which services are running, in menu > settings > applications > running services.

Scroll down the list and note activity from syncing apps/widgets and background updating apps/widgets.

Have you added one in the past week?

Delete it and see if it happens again.

I have Watchdog Lite -- but it doesnt appear to show data usage, just CPU usage, unless Im not looking in the right place........?
