Root Honeycomb boot animation on Droid X

The boot logo is working for me (I have the little blue bee) but I do not have a boot animation. So I boot my X, it shows the bee (replacement for Motorola M) and skips over the blue honeycomb animation (replacement for Droid Eye boot animation) to a slow to load lockscreen.

I understand the lockscreen is a bit slow because I am not supposed to be seeing that yet, as it should still be showing an animation. That is not the issue though. I am looking to restore either the original boot animation, or preferably the above honeycomb animation.

By the way, I installed the .zip update of the honeycomb animation rather than the root explorer method.

Thanks for your help!

Yup I sure did. I did some testing and switched roms to my own stock Froyo rom. While booting that, I did have the "M" boot logo, but no Droid XTRM boot animation runs during that rom either...?

Is it possible that you disable the boot animation? I know that liberty allows you to that and if you did it may have somehow carried over? Just a guess though.

I thought that might have been it after you said this. Booted back into the latest release of Liberty, went into Liberty toolbox and re-enabled boot animation, and went back into clockwork to restore my main rom of Apex. Still no boot animation for me though. Anyone know where it is stored?
