The sound from this headset is simply awesome. When I was reading the Faqs that I downloaded from Huawei Devices official site addressed the sound problem and said that the BEST sound would come with the headset provided with the phone.

I never even tried it until tonight. It's fantastic!!!

And the little earbuds fit great! I had to fiddle with them just a tad...but now I don't even know I have them in.

Thanks again Huawei!!!

Say you want to use your bluetooth to listen to music from time-to-time. Is this possible?

Yes but it won't be stereo unless you have a blue tooth stereo headset.

There is no download as far as I have found. I'm still using Power Amp but I don't actually think it helps much. The stock headset that came with my phone has great sound! I just had never tried it since I use blue tooth for talking but I read in the Huawei Faqs that are in the Guide that if you are experiencing probs with sound to use the headset. So I pulled them out and boy was I ever shocked. I thought it was just a little piece of junk and turns out it's terrific. :)

Hey Toke, I purchased Power amp. I looked at tunewiki, but I like power amp and think it's worth the small charge

Yeah, poweramp kicks derrière but I'm cheap, which explains my metropcs sp. I am still debating on whether or not i even want to spend any money on apps as i plan on fiddling with this one till i accidentally brick it and buy a new one next year.

i'm having a problem with the headphones. the ones that came with my phone hurt my ears so i went to get new ones and had to get the ones with the adapter but the sound only works on one side of the headphones i've tried atleast 3 different headphones does anyone know what to do or where to get ones that'll work?
both for headphones and talking, i prefer the earbuds.

Do the headphones that came with your phone work on both sides? If so, then the problem may be the adapter you are using.

Check to be sure that the adapter is pushed in all of the way. Sometimes they can feel like they went in, but only go about half way in. Just a thought.

Based on another thread here and elsewhere I've come to the conclusion that if you use an adapter (3.5mm to 2.5mm) then you MUST USE regular stereo headphones. It seems when you use an adapter with those "combo" headphones (the models with a mic) then it gets all screwed up.

By "all screwed up" I'm referring to the complaints of not getting stereo sound (usually one side works and the mic works but of course the sound is mono since only one side is working).

Honestly I don't see a big deal. If you really want to talk with "headphones" then just get a blue tooth mic. Otherwise for listening to music just buy regular headphones without the mic and the adapter should work (although be careful as some adapters are not stereo to stereo but rather stereo to mono or mono to stereo or mono to mono).

I put this in another thread but here is a link to the adapter that worked for me: Radio Shack Item # 274-373 (Please note that the image is wrong but this IS the correct item. It is the item number that was on my package and the description fits. I just think they got the image wrong on the website)
