Schedule Data Syncing?

I have been looking for an app like this for my SGS for days now...

I'm not always near Wi-Fi points so I'd like to have an app that turns on and off again my data connection, say every 3 hours for 10 minutes. Anything I found so far only succeeded in screwing up my APN settings. Though screwing with settings shouldn't be necessary anymore now that I can turn my mobile data connection on/off manually with froyo, right?
Any app that utilizes this function would make me very happy :)

Thanks, I tried that one before. It does control the Wi-fi but seems unable to control the data connection on my SGS.

I just tried Timeriffic, which surprisingly does turn on and off my data at the scheduled times, until I realized I now can't turn it on manually off-schedule anymore... This is really frustrating

edit: Issue 43 - autosettings - [Timeriffic] Add ability to turn Mobile Network Data On/Off - Project Hosting on Google Code
looks like I should stop hoping to find something... too bad.
Shouldn't be too much to ask of an expensive phone to be able to receive E-Mails and such on the go without having to drain my battery with internet always running.

I've started using Setting Profiles which is like Tasker but simpler to use. You can schedule time periods to turn off syncing, and set up a manual toggle profile that you can hit from the home screen to turn it on and off again for on-demand syncing. My battery has survived up to a day and a half with it, wish I had found it months ago.
