It is time to move on, guys...News from VZW about TB

A friend of mine ( I know, I know friend of mine ) is a manager at VZW offices (not store), he has been incredibly busy this month but he wrote to me today regarding the TB.

Basically couple of lines,

Wait for another phone, got many devices coming out in Q2, even Bionic is going to be better.

There are issues with this phone, and it saddens me to say this because I got a shitty Storm and it is on its last legs and I need a 4G phone and I am loyal to VZW and its network but since I am in a great 4g area I need/want a 4G phone...and this month the F5 key has been used up on my computer..on this forum but it is time to move on....too many issues..way too many....it was all good but it is starting to turn into a nightmare...

So not news from VZW, but rather an opinion of your friend that works at Verizon.

Of course there will be better devices, you can never get ahead of the future. If you keep waiting for the "Next Best Thing" you will never have the phone. Let's put it this way... My NE2 was up last March... I'm still rocking a LG Dare. Waitied on the DINC, then the X was leaked. Waited on the X, then the "INC HD" was leaked. (TB) Now what? Part of me wants to wait for CTIA to see what's announced...but then it will just be more waiting. I have several friends who LOVE their EVOs, and I really like the form factor, so this is what I'm choosing.

Ya gotta jump in at some point, right? If the phone is THAT BAD, I'll have 14 days to make a decision.

Guys, not a troll, you guys are right it is more of an opinion but you have to wonder about this phone...They have done a good job of keeping information on the DL for this phone but you all have to wonder that something is off, and I will gladly be wrong because I need a new phone so badly you can't imagine but I am just think all signs point to not being with this phone and this coming from someone who wants to be struck by lighting already

I think the speculation that makes the most sense is that they didn't have enough.. Idk though.

I'm sure there was something wrong (Skype, battery life, etc.). But all pre-production models have issues. Case in point - look at all of the CES/MWC demo videos that phones with bugs in them. I'm sure the major issue(s) either have or will be addressed by VZW and HTC before the phone is released.

Just because a phone has issues before it's released (all phones have issues before release) doesn't mean the final product is going to be bad.

Edit: And if you're concerned, don't be an early adopter. Wait a week or two for the reports and consumer reviews to come through before buying. And even then, you have 14 days to change your mind.
