Heellpp! Please?

hi, i'm 15 and about 20 minutes ago i dropped my htc desire onto the pavement when i was getting out of the car. Its reasonably new and it landed flat on its back causing the back case to loosen (not quite fall off) when i picked it up to turn it on there is no response and when i plugged the charger in there was no LED notification light either. ive taken the battery out many times and there is no rattling noises when shaken.

what should i do? SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME.. i havent told my mum yet and dont want to get yelled at :(

anytime withing the next 15mins would be appreciated thanks x

oh &*^% :( my mum is going to kill me! thanks x

Just a point to bear in mind, if your phone was purchased on a UK contract.
It is normal retailer practice to try and sell you (or your mum), insurance at the time of purchase, normally the first months premium is free. Double check that this wasn't the case when you started your contract, as accidental damage is covered after payment of the excess...
