Help Change calendar event duration?

Is there a way to change the default event duration in the calendar app?

Within Calendar I shoose "add event" and the duration is always set to 1hr... is this configurable?

OK either I AM stupid... or I didn't phrase the question properly...

I want to configure the default event time of 1 hr, not configure each individual event duration.

So by default the event time is 1hr, I want to change that permanently, so whenever I select Add Event the duration will automatically be the duration I configured it to be

Possible?
