RC9 Update recieved 3am this morning in the UK

Copied and pasted from what I wrote in another thread just a minute ago lol:

All Ive noticed so far is that if you press and hold on an MMS it gives you an option to save to your SD...

There's an extra option in my settings to "check for updates"...

And when I uninstalled a game earlier it told me it had saved my information and that if I wished to download the app again I would not need to re-purchase it...

Im not even sure what changes I should be looking for, those are just the ones ive noticed

Another thing Ive just noticed as well (Not sure if it was already there though lol)...
When I go settings I have an option called "locale & text"... inside Ive got the text settings (auto-replace, auto-cap etc which I noticed before) but I have an option to "select locale" and change to either English or German...

... maybe it was there before and I hadnt noticed?

Just unistalled 2 more apps and for each one I got a pop up saying:

"your purchase is saved and this item can be installed again on your phone at no charge"

when you go to uninstall the options given are now:

"I dont use or want it"
"I need more space on my phone"
"Its defective"
"Its malicious"
"Id rather not say"...

so perhaps they may look at allowin us to save apps to the SD...

Maybe because Germany was the first country to receive RC9 and the build is for Europe rather than the UK now.

Maybe its because this is the first update which is bound for the rest of the eu and not just the uk?

I dont know if it makes any difference but I got my handset literally a day after it came out in the UK, maybe my handset is different or perhaps they are showing me some loyalty seeing as I was one of the first owners lol

If someone gets the name of the update, people can start modding it the right person just needs to grab the filename BEFORE they do the update.

Basically, a new update comes out -> someone gets the url for it -> people tear it apart and mod it -> all is well

if we know what the file name is called people could download the zip directly from the google server and manually update.
