Most accurate and recent TB status summary yet?

Very simple and apparently BS free. Rep says the same thing some of us have been told and is from a direct VZW person, rather than a source's cousin's, uncle's imaginary friend.

Summary:

Should have already been out

Battery life issues appears to be mainly why delayed

No clue when it will release

I never claimed to be a good source of information. I only pass along what I see, and anyone with a brain knows they don't let much trickle down to store employees. My biggest strength is being able to track shipments and what not, not predict release dates (never have)

As per the wording of my post "yet"?

1. Everything is relative (Most info to date has been abosolute BS and ZERO supporting evidence)
2. The person has a real TB and a VZW supported event (evidence)
3. Tad more stable of a source than the third, fourth and fifth party "certain" info sources given to date.

Not hard to go "up" with info when near everything so far has been complete BS.

My statement was that we, meaning the people on this forum, must have, at one point, started to consider you a good source of release info evident by all of the posts asking, "What do you know", "Any info", "When do you think it will come out"

I don't care about the phone, I care about the way I'm perceived, because that's everything in life. I didn't start posting here as the be all end all, I started posting to help people get a little more information from best buy on the phone, since it's a retail exclusive.

That's all.


And no one is that great of a source, unless you're the guy who makes the decisions, you could have the best info, but if someone changes their mind you look like crap.

I want to have the latest and the greatest and right now that is LTE on Verizon. I really thought that VZW would be making a bigger push to get this thing out, but like all things we may never get the whole story.

If Sprint unveils that before the TB....and it's not far out, I may wait for that, lol

Again, VZW can not win.. Release now and if issues, they will be killed by the media and consumers. Best for them to take their hits in more contained places. The forums

Yet another link where we can't deconflict the author's opinion and paraphrasing (in blue below) from what was actually said:

I asked the lady at the stand if she knew when it was expected to be released, and she told me that she didn't know, but that it was supposed to have already been out (the date was pushed back because of problems, namely the battery, which was dying too early. I think it must be because of the battery life the LTE data required.)

And also follow-up discussions here, while clarifying, basically repeat what's been said in other threads - including the need for more threads.
