Root Evo4g unroot issue

Question I was trying to unroot my evo and forget to take my screen saver off and start the ruu find but the screen saver kick in and now I get a htc logo on a black screen with one icon in ea corner and when I try to go to recovery and I get

that is the wrong ruu.

I am unrooting in a few moments If I find the correct ruu I will send you the link. You need an ruu that matches your current radio version 2.15 and hboot 2.10

Ill try like 2 diferent ones but it tell me that the rom update cant not connect your android phone. Is only work when I run the old RUU ver and the stop.

this is the lalest I got but cant get the program to recognize my phone when I plug the usb. Only recognize it if I use the old ruu and stop half way.

I had that problem yesterday, you should try to see if you have the right driver installed on your computer for your htc. Once you install the proper driver everything should work fine.

If you can power it on, likely not. Can you still get to hboot? you might have to try and run the PC36IMG.zip file for that hboot version. Do you have a card reader to put your sdcard in to load the file onto it?

1) You likely can't flash a PC36IMG.zip file at this time. See the instructions in the rooting for dummies guide if you'd like to try, but likely it won't work. Once a RUU is interrupted, it needs to finish.
2) You were able to start the RUU meant for an older phone because you still have S-OFF. You were supposed to flash the S-ON tool, first. Because you didn't, it started to flash, but it can't continue because you have a newer hboot.
3) Did you ever look into evolvr's advice about drivers? That's probably the best place to start.
4) Once you do get it flashed, you're going to need to do a couple of things:

a) Use the link in my sig to flash Clockwork 2.6.0.1. This is the only way to flash it, as you'll have an unrooted ROM.
b) Get the unrevoked S-ON tool from the rooting for dummies guide, then flash it from recovery.
c) Get the PC36IMG.zip that Mr. Ed posted if you want to start over the "clean" way, OR grab the hboot 2.10 stock recovery fro the link in my sig. Either one should be fine. The latter is much faster, but not as "guaranteed", I suppose. It also might not work once you have S-ON. It's up to you.

Your only option is to run the correct RUU. What happens when you connect the phone to the computer? Does it prompt you to install drivers?

Please get a complete RUU package and try again.

Well, forget the older one. Try redownloading the newer one, and try running it again.

yes and the bootloader is 1.0 and I istall and unistall it more than once and when I try to update to the android usb new driver tell me that the driver is up to date and stay 1.0
