Does anyone know how to put another tone into the notifications folder,when you open the phone on the pc there is no notification folder to put other tones into.I could do this on my old htc desire .I have been in contact with samsung about this.

You may try to move it from your phone. Or... you could just leave it somewhere else and install an app to recognize all sounds in the phone when you are browsing through the sounds, when picking one. I don't remember what's called but there is at least one.

If you install swiftp on your phone and a ftp client on your phone than you can access many hidden folders through your computer.


I know it is a lengthy process but it does the job. There must be some simple 1 also.


PS: One time setup of FTP between your phone and pc would save volumes of time later when transferring data between them!

to change go to settings, sound, notification ringtone and change from list.
