Limited Quantities?

Sooooooooo, I called two local Verizon corporate stores. One said they didnt get them yet and would let me know tomorrow if they get them in and would let me order tomorrow and pick up thursday. Then i called the other corporate store and he says they are only getting 4 of them and that they are for new customers only. If this is true and going to be the norm then VZ is going to have a lot of PISSED off current customers Including me.

Well may be BB piled up a bunch of them since they were taking preorders and being a retail exclusive for Thunderbolt.

Order at 6am over the phone and have to wait til Friday to get it, but pretty much guarantee I'm getting one or Try to get to the store early and not be guaranteed to get one, but still a good possibility to get it on Thursday and risk online orders being on back order at 10when the store opens.

The truth is you might be able to just get the phone. I know it seems like a lot of hype, but most of my friends dont even know what thunderbolt is. I think them pulling the ads would probably have negative effect on sales for a little bit. When I am walking around at school with my friends and talk to people and people at work. They don't even know about this phone.

I highly doubt that the hype in web forums like this would result in lines being out the door.

I think you will be able to get it at the store with out problems..

my store told me they are only getting 8.... although i am not in a large market.

Clemson = 20,000 residents without students, 40,000 with. talk about the epitome of a college town.

regardless, i am getting to the store at 8:45 thursday. there is no way i am chancing having to wait any longer for this phone.
