Would you buy if no access to 4G?

I live where there is no 4G access and I can say I was one of the last metropolitan cities (82,000 City/County) in Indiana to get 3G from Verizon. (AT&T just went here 3G in the past couple of months. Really!)

So given I won't see 4G during the life of a Thunderbolt, I am asking myself if I should just wait for the updated version of my Incredible or get the TB.

Thoughts?

well, since the 4g pricing right now is the same as 3g, there really isn't too much of a downside, other than initial cost of the device itself. and, if vzw decides to go with tiered pricing in the future, you'd be grandfathered in.

that said, you could always look into the option of buying an incredible or droid2 with a 1 year contract and wait it out...

I don't have 4G here yet either, but you figure it's a solid device regardless if you're on LTE, the phone itself is snappy as tits. Also, if you're getting a 2-year contract (like myself) the second half or so (I'm praying) will have 4G here, so it'll be worth it in the long run. If not, like everyones saying, faster processor voice and data at the same time etc etc good phone, good buy, go for it!

I am buying mine first thing. I won't see 4g in 2 TB's lifetime. However there are times where I travel to places that have it. But I just like the TB.
