Happy with your purchase?

I was wondering if everyone is happy with the purchase of the Thunderbolt or not? On Sunday my phone broke so I upgraded to the iPhone 4. Its not bad, but its not android. I want to get everyones honest opinion please because im still in my return policy :)

I had the iphone 4 and returned it. Android IMO is much nicer and allows for more customizations where IOS is pretty bland and boring to me. I got tired of it after a week so thats why i got the tb.

Very happy. And I now think of my Incredible as "cute" because it's so little. :D My husband had the X (until yesterday ;)) and he loves the TB. If you're coming from Moto, it's a pretty big difference. With me having the Inc, I'm very familiar with Sense. They do have some nice add-ons now.

I played with the iPhone yesterday while I was waiting, and while it was snappy, I'd take my T-Bolt over it any day.

Agreed. I did jailbreak my iphone, but the lack of customization still is killing me. I cant really find anything to defend the iphone except for the simple fact is how smooth the phone runs. Thats about it

I'm loving it so far, and that's coming from a former iPhone4 owner. Not a single glitch, large, bright screen with great angle viewing and contrast and just the right size for my hand and pocket. The battery life has been way better than expected so far, but maybe it's because I don't use the GPS (off) and I'm not in a 4G area which are probably the biggest battery drains.

My wife also came from the IP4 and loved that phone along with her iPad. She's been impressed so far, only negatives I've heard from her so far is she liked the easy flip switch on the iPhone to mute that this doesn't have and a couple of apps that Android doesn't have that Apple did. She's still getting used to the apps and widgets and I'm sure she'll like it even more once she does.

Is she talking about for mute in call or silence the phone? If it's the phone, there are widgets for that I'm pretty sure.

Yeah silent mode I meant to say. When you walk into a meeting or theater for example, you just flip it and there's no sounds (except if your alarm s set). I admit it was nice, didn't even have to pull your phone out of your pocket to do it.

Well its too early but here are some things I don't like don't flame me just my opinion.... keyboard is laggy sometime when typing, screen isn't as good as it should be', speaker is weak, no app to utilize ffc (don't say tango because that app is horrible), it is really slippery should of had a grip feel on the back, home back buttons look half lit up at night, I'm having a problem whenever I text it gives the recipient a long number like 15 digits long, battery life is terrible, power button is hard to find if in dark needs to be raised a little morem, volume rocker is huge

Pros
Feels good in hand slightly heavy but I like it is a very speedy phone no lag in the interface only got hung up once so far for me, kickstand is nice, call quality isn't bad no moto but still pretty good other than speaker

Sorry t o be nittpicky but when I spend a lot of money I like to get my moneys worth

Very happy.
Coming from a Blackberry for years on a corporate BES server, I knew the mail wouldn't be as streamlined and simple.
I knew the battery wouldn't last as long (Purchased the HTC extended and never put the stocker on)

Speed, screen size and a few other items make it a winner for me.
I do have some getting used to. Damn it files...

htc makes great phones.. this is a great phone.. fast!
i love my evo.

lte is fast .. and with the unlimited plan for only $30 on verizon.. that is awesome!.... but wait till the other shoe drops... verizon is know for being the most expensive and lte is not cheap to provide and maintain. they will get their ROI one way or another.

LTE.. will bring data charges for things that you normally get for free.
verizon has you in a 2 yr contract.
I predict before end of yr.. you will see these charges announced.
