T-Mobile getting killed...

At&t and Verizon have Androids that are a LOT better then T-mobile's which seems a bit off to me. Tmo had the first android, & now is in 3rd place in the android race. Sprint's old Evo is on the same level as Tmo's newest phones. They need to step it up

Huh? Until the Thunderbolt, Atrix and Bionic drop, T-Mobile has the number 2 and 3 Android powered phones in the game hardware wise and a version of the number 4.

Well the GSM profile for 4.3" is lacking that's the only reason I got MT4G. Can't go with BS Vibrant or SGS as hardware wise after HD2 DHD was my pick but as always real flagship device never showup first US model same happend with HD2 and now DHD.

Far as Evo goes I don't know what OP is talking about as we had Leo since 2009 where same BS was released in mid 2010 lol.

Well I got Leo1024 months before it was legally released in USA paid the vendor like $750 for it and that was in 2009. Most of these standard was started by HD2 :p that all phone shares now far as Evo fanboys goes well my base 29XXX could take them out anyday. I just laugh at them and correct them and let them know "buddy nice owning a phone that we already been had year ago" lol. Point is I didn't what to pay $350 for it in 2011 but you get what you pay for as its ONLY versatile device in market as none other can even match or come close to its development. Hackabality wise that was the perfect device for me as I made my own tweaks and sense mods which extended it more making it far more superior.

Far as HD7 goes its a total F as IDK what M$ is thinking who are they building these iPhoney style phones for as we are not kids. Whats with the squares (tiles)? I mean changing color scheme for selection is not what I call customizing lol also no C/P ya good luck with that but thats another subject of its own. So when I try to buy new phone only thing I saw in GSM profile was DHD which as we know is not TMoUS 3G capable. So only other choice was Nexus S (not very big SamSUX fan thats another standalone thread of its own) and G2 (first TMo 4G phone). Where I am I have decent 4G signal as I saw trade off. So I got the hardware spec of DHD and speed of G2 in MT4G and paid $450 for it :p and saved more money directly oppressed to buying it in contract and paying more.

HTC HD2: TMoUS Leo1024 Unlocked
Rom: 121310 NRG-SE29005
Radio: Leo 2.15.50.14
Battery: Mugen Power 1300 mAh
MicroSDHC: Kingston 32GB Class 4
Shell: HD2 Clear Body Glove
Protector: Vikuiti DQC-160

HD7-WTF(best describes it)

How we go from superior customization to that is beyond me, fact is WM is far superior than Android for power users as normal users who is actually illiterate is unable to properly operate and execute. It actually requires knowledge to run which most won't grasp as it takes years to know about the CE kernel but once you know you can virtually rip it apart even if you don't have the framework.

I know the price who stole the phone got $750+50(battery)+35(shell)+150(mSD). So I was looking at close to 1k damage which was not the least of the problem as I had lost important contracts which till these days I can't get hold of lol. HD2 simply delivered as the device was way ahead of its time and now I am attempting to slowly convert AOSP 2.3.2 for my own need.

I am sorry to hear about your HD7. That is awful.....People are just so heartless and cruel.

I however LOVE WINDOWS PHONE 7 and MY HD7

The main argument i hear to support android is Customization & openness(although arguably this is more of a tech argument as the average consumer probably has no idea that Apple prohibts non-market apps but you can use non-market apps on android) and also the hackability(that's not a word lmao)

Windows phone is more then tiles and is visually more appealing than Windows Mobile sans Sense. If you take away sense on windows mobile, it is a rather...bland and I can't wait till
A)Microsoft releases "No-Do" which is No donut that enables more features in March and Mango later in the summer
B)Nokia's model and HTC, Samsung, Dell and I guess Lg's second gen models because i believe with the User Experience of Wp7 & Nokia's excellent hardware, great things will soon be coming to the OS

I happen to love my MT4G. my brother in law has the Sprint EVO 4g so i've been able to compare the 2. I have to say the only difference is that the EVO is bigger. Other then that they both have the same high end Android smart phone features. A friend of mine has the Droid X and he hates it. he says he's always having issues with it. As far as AT&T nice phones, awful Carrier. They are the only carrier that requires a deposit for service.

Another thing about AT&T I hate when it comes to Android. They pick the lower end (until recently) to appease the customers, cripple them and then load so much bloatware you can hardly use the phone, all to appease APPLE... Now that the iPhone is released on Verizon (which I think is a JOKE), they are getting better phones, but, it's still AT&T.

I have t-Mobile and what kills me is that you can't move devices between the 2 and retain 3G service on almost all phones. :(

Competition is great, but not at the expense of the customer.

Bottom line for me, and lots of others Ive talked to on TMO forums, is that if they drag their feet and do not deliver the Samsung Galaxy S2 or HTC Pyramid (mythical status only atm) before Q3.....and others get the Galaxy S2........I'm gone.

I have been frustrated with our lineup for a long time, but have yet to see a phone truly worth jumping ship........until now. The Galaxy S2 is worth it for whatever carriers get it first. I'd even consider AT&T for it.

You might want to spend more time with WP7. It's pretty freaking awesome. Blazing fast, nothing lags or hangs, great overall user experience. It runs better on a gen1 snapdragon that the Atrix does with dual core tegra.

Also, Sprint got the HTC Arrive today and all of them ship with copy and past.

Google would be smart to keep an eye on WP7. It's 3 killer apps, and two updates away from eating android's lunch.

Yeah yeah, I know this is android forum and all, and that notion seems inconceivable, but believe it. WP7 is a contender.

Lmao yeah it's an android phone so most people here tend to ignore the obvious pros of particular OSes and focus on exaggerated cons :)

But i so agree with you! I love Wp7. I wish it did have the app quantity of Android(and iOS) however the quality of apps is great.

Honestly, the hardware is great with the HD7(and the newly announced HD7S for At&t), samsung focus, Htc surround etc

but it needs 4g, FFC and i guess dual core for these tech geeks who flip if a phone is shipping with single core

But WP7 is a definite contender as you said & Nokia will definitely bring some innovative hot devices in the near future.

I still love Android though :)

I hope WP7 does improve because if it does, it just means that android will get that much better. WP7 needs to open up though, i know you cant use music as ringtones on the HD7 (as far as i know) and i know you cant upload videos to the internet from the phone either.

Nah you can't use the music as ringtones...I was annoyed by that at first when i got it but after Day 2, it really doesn't matter.

Uploading videos...Ummm haven't tried it so i can't speak on that

And i think it is good that it is closed like IOS.
With all the viruses and crap going on with Android,
being open has it's pros but also a lot of cons.

I like the fact that Microsoft is using a closed OS because that means
a lot of crap apps will get denied vs Android let's any and every kind
of app nearly be in the market
