I am waiting. I am due for an upgrade, and my current phone, just an enV, has a cracked screen that is slowly dying. I have been doing a ton of research on the HTC Evo, iPhone4, Thunderbolt, Bionic, et. al. My head is spinning. I almost pulled the trigger on the Thunderbolt yesterday, but after reading this forum, I might wait for the Bionic, which is apparently coming out next month. I have been limping along with my current phone for several months, so another (hopefully) won't hurt.
Several reasons why I am waiting:
I want to be able to use Netflix on the phone. I don't care about Skype. I do like the idea of the HDMI port. Also, to be frank (just don't call me Shirley!), I have seen a lot of negative here, not a lot of positive about the Thunderbolt.... And I am not worried about the battery complaints. I was in Verizon yesterday looking at a non-working demo, and really liked it. But, watching all the posts now that people have the phone and I am concerned. I hate buyers remorse! I know I am not going Apple. I am typing this from my iPad, but I refuse to own another device that will not run Flash. Don't get me started on THAT!
Sooooooooo.... I will continue watching and waiting. I will make my decision after the Bionic comes out. I have not had any android devices, so I am an extreme newbie.
I have no idea about Froyo, 2.2, Blur, Sense, etc. But, I have learned a lot from all you experts.
Ok ow devices will keep improving. I am drawing a line in the sand at Bionic.....
